The concept does make sense if one frequently goes on business trips that are scheduled to take some time. The renting of apartments may be better than checking into a hotel for it eliminates the need for expensive accommodations. Depending on the type and quality of the apartment in question, rates may be lower, equal to or even higher than that of hotel rates with one exception, true privacy. A little less than renting a house, you get all the amenities of a hotel but with the set-up of a home not a building made to feel like home. These apartments may be in resort type settings and some may be in the middle of busy cities but wherever they may be, they give you the atmosphere of going home to a house which can be psychologically soothing and better on the pocket at the same time.�
