The situation has you feeling cramped up in your previously cool apartment that is overflowing with stuff you have accumulated for the last year. The good news, the apartment hasn’t shrunk, you have merely gathered too much clutter and you’re getting the losing end. Good thing you can always go have a yard sale where you can turn old stuff into cash for more stuff or for other pressing needs. Get talking to your neighbors and try to get them to join in, the more stuff you have the more people will get attracted to your sale. make sure you ask permission from your landlord (you can even ask them to join in) before you decide on any plans. You can have them on weekends or for a whole week if someone can watch over all your stuff.
You should also consider storage for all your stuff as night approaches, the garage or some open space that is secure will serve as nice temporary storage. If your landlord disagrees with your plans, then why not find a lot you can use, or even the park if they’d allow you!
