hunting.jpgWhen trying to find new places to stay, try to go local first before going out of town if you don’t have any underlying reason for doing so (such as new employment where the proximity of your current residence is a factor or you may be in need of a change of atmosphere). This allows you fast and easy estimates on how prices are running and if the quality of your prospects is equal if not better and competitive in prices with your current residence. Locals also tend to be more adept to giving better/lower prices to people who live nearby and tend to be part of the community. Call round to friends and ask if they may happen to have spied upon any listings as they go to work and home or browse thought the internet. Don’t have time to browse around, ask for help so you get to cover more ground and spend less time. The more you search the better for it gives you the view from a larger sample body.
